This is a prequel to the novel Dark Obsession. I found it a bit repetitive in certain spots and not as spicy as the other novels in the series (which were fire by the way). I do think it’s fitting though considering Niccolo is more of an academic and really doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of his father and older brother. I’m looking forward to reading the full length novel to learn more about Niccolo and Christine’s story.
