This was a refreshing change to the typical romance novels that I have been reading lately. The story is about Connie and Zack, who reunite later in life after their daughters become roommates at University. After losing their spouses, both Connie and Zack are reluctant to let down their barriers and love again, but a medical crisis convinces them to take a chance on one another.
It was a slow start to the novel, but once it picked up it was a really endearing story. It’s a soft, cozy love story, perfect for anyone who just wants to curl up and enjoy a light read.
