This novel was an intense and emotional read. Jen and Lia were once inseparable as teenagers, but their friendship fractured when Jen disapproved of Lia’s boyfriend. This book had me on edge the entire time. There was so much happening behind closed doors, secrets lurking in every corner. There was so much tension and suspense the entire novel. felt the anxiety creeping in as I turned each page. An absolutely gripping read!
